We know that we have come to know Him if we keep His commands.Whoever says, “I know Him,” but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.
1 John 2:3-4
“Blah, Blah, Blah.” You can say whatever you want about how long you have been a believer and knowing God. But if your actions don’t reflect your faith and what you say, then your words are just... “Blah, Blah, Blah.”
Being a shining example of His love by living out your faith by demonstrating it is how you can both honor God and live a life filled with joy!
Don’t bother talking about knowing God if you are going to do things that are directly disobedient to Him. God says that makes you a liar. Yikes!
You can fool people and even yourself but, you can’t fool God. You can claim whatever you want to other people and maybe even convince them that you’re obedient to God. But you can’t fool Him. He insists on discipline and complete obedience.
A big part of obeying God is knowing what He wants you to do. The best way to learn that is by reading His Word. It's hard to find a Bible Study that goes deep into God's Word and helps you live it out daily. I, like you, need God's Word in my life, join me tonight as we effectively read, study and share the Bible with clarity, confidence and accuracy.
