Show Some Backbone.

“But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15

Decide if you’re going to obey God. Decide because if you don’t decide you already did by your lack of action. Get it? Not deciding is deciding. There is no middle ground here. Make a choice to obey God.

Here is the bottom line…If you aren’t obeying God, then you aren’t trusting Him. If you aren’t trusting Him, then you aren’t glorifying Him. Obeying is our outward expression of our faith and our declaration to Jesus that we love and respect Him.

You can say you love Him and trust Him all you want, but if you aren’t obeying Him, then all those words are just lies you tell yourself.
